August President\’s Message

FWAHU Looks Ahead to an Exciting Year!

I am so excited to be president of the association and have the opportunity to bring you a year packed full of continuing education and chances to rack up designations! Our board has been hard at work lining up distinguished speakers for you, and as we saw in July, our new concept for Drink N\’ Learn CE/Happy Hour was a huge success with a roomful of people staying on for two hours of informative and entertaining continuing education.

Our chapter is nothing without all of you attending events and taking what you learn back to your clients. Now more than ever, your involvement and knowledge of what\’s happening at the federal, state and local levels is so important.  So please continue to join us and see just how much fun we can make this organization.

As you heard if you attended our July luncheon, we have have nearly the entire year planned out on our calendar, and everyone should be receiving regular email announcements about up and coming events. Be sure to check the dates and times, as this year we will be holding one Tuesday event, several breakfast events and quite a few special events outside of normal luncheon days.  I send a sincer thank you to all the terrific people who have stepped up to serve on my board, and to the many fabulous members whose feedback has been critical in our planning for this chapter year.
